It'll be clear, and it'll be COLD, but I'll be heading out to Hudson tonight to chase a celestial dolphin. Sleep is for the Weak.

But seriously, it'll be cold. It's Actual January, so dress like you're Earnest Shackleton.

Amazing shot...What am I looking at? (pretend I'm new.) I am brand new to both astronomy as well as RASC. My better half would like me to add, "...as well as planet Earth." That being said, I am really excited to be a part of this group. Tran...I notice you are a mentor. I would love to learn how yoiu are taking these pictures.

Hi there! This is SH2-308, the "Dolphin Nebula." It needs a lot more exposure time than I was able to give it this year.
