Description: Doors open 7:30 PM Talk by Marc Ricard “Photographing a Meteor Shower” 8:00 PM. If clear, Jupiter & Saturn will be able to be observed after the talk. The Bellevue Observatory will be open, but members can also bring their own telescopes & / or binoculars for public viewing.
Part 2 – Perseids Meteor Shower
When: Monday, 12th August 12th, 19:30 – 23:00
Where: Morgan Arboretum – Conservation Cenre

Description: Doors open at 7:30 PM. Robert Vanderwee “The Perseids Meteor Shower by Robert” at 8:00 PM. Public Observing of the Perseid Meteor Shower after talk (weather Permitting). No Special equipment is needed, just Insect repellent, a lawn chair or blanket. In the event of a rain out, only the presentation will be given.
