Youth Workshop for ages 10-17
The Cosmic Generation invites you to their first workshop: Alien Drawing by RASC Montreal Centre & University Lowbrows Youth member Taara Jaffer. The workshop is open to any youth ages 10-17 interested in Astronomy & Space and will be held on Sunday, Feb 13th from 2-4pm MT (4pm-6pm EST). Learn about extremophiles and try your hand at drawing alien life. The workshop will be followed by a discussion of future Cosmic Generation projects and attendees can join this new Youth Club to explore the Cosmos together.
This event is for youth only, and parents’ email addresses will be required on registration. We also encourage parents to share their kids’ alien drawings after the workshop – submissions will be featured in an Explore Alliance Global Star Party and in an upcoming Newsletter. Any RASC Montreal Centre participants are also encouraged to share their work with our SkyWard Newsletter.
