Come join the RASC Montreal Centre for a presentation with Professor Michael Pagano of John Abbott College’s Physics Department.

To study the Universe, astronomers point their telescopes to the stars in order to extract information from nature. However, there is a period of time following the Big Bang known as The Dark Ages in which there are no stars, and no light for astronomers to detect. In this talk we detail a breakthrough method known as 21cm cosmology used to study these dark ages and shed light on the universe.
