Today we are proud and privileged to honour the women who made the Montreal Centre what is is today. Amateur astronomers such as Isabel K. Williamson who served our centre in a number of key and ground breaking roles. Her name graced our former observatory just behind McGill University’s Molson Stadium. Today she is commemorated by our new I.K. Williamson Library housed at John Abbott College. Over the years the Montreal Centre continues to be lead by dynamic women amateur astronomers who makes us all so much the better.
