On Tuesday October 23, 2012 the RASC Montreal Centre held their official “Public First Light” at the Morgan Arboretum home of our Bellevue Observatory. This event was held for the benefit of introducing the Bellevue Observatory to the public and to the media.
Attending this “Public First Light” event were Montreal Centre representatives and our partners, McGill University and the Morgan Arboretum. Invited guests included the Mayor and Councillors from Ste. Anne de Bellevue, representatives from the Canadian Space Agency, the West Island School Boards and others.
A Big thanks goes out to all who made the Bellevue Observatory possible and for the generous support of our members. We now have “A New Eye on the Universe
