The volunteers of the RASC Montreal Centre were out in force during Westmount’s Earth Hour event on March 26th. Despite the bitter cold, we had a lot of fun showing the night sky to the general public. Telescopes were set up in front of Victoria Hall, and even though the lights didn’t dim all that much we were still able to show bright celestial objects such as the Orion Nebula and the planet Saturn.
A big thank you to the organizers of this event!
