Saturday May 7th, 2011 is International Astronomy Day. This annual event, lead by the Astronomical League, promotes astronomy worldwide. And again this year, the RASC Montreal Centre is offering solar observing, info sessions, and a star party.
During the daytime we will be at the public library in the Dollard-des-Ormeaux complex. If the weather permits we will set up info tables and telescopes for solar observing just outside the main entrance (in case of inclement weather you can find us inside the complex).
