Did you check out the “Supermoon” on Saturday? What a spectacular sight for us Montrealers, who were lucky to have clear skies for once!
The Supermoon was especially large and bright this Saturday because it was just under 358,000 km from our planet – the closest it has been in 18 years.
Many night-time enthusiasts around the world snapped photos of this super-sized edition of the full Moon. There is a gorgeous slide show on the National Geographic website.
