The Public is Invited to Celebrate the Perseid Meteor Shower with a Free Presentation and Stargazing
The Montreal Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (“RASC”) invites the public to come watch the best annual shooting star show of the year at the Bellevue Observatory at the Morgan Arboretum in Ste.Anne-de-Bellevue, on Monday, August 12, 2013.
Event: Perseid Meteor Shower Party
Date: August 12
Time: 8 pm ; multimedia talk on The Persieds, followed by tours of the night sky
Location: Morgan Arboretum, 150 Chemin des Pins, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, QC H9X 3V9
A 5$ donation per vehicle in support of the Bellevue Observatory would be warmly welcomed.
