NOVA II Intro to Astronomy
Are you a beginner to intermediate amateur astronomer who wishes to extend their knowledge and expertise in observing the night sky?
Sign up for the next six NOVA Introduction to Astronomy seminars.
Developed by expert amateur astronomers from the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC) as part of the New Observers to Visual Astronomy (NOVA) series, these six seminars will give you all that you need to get you started and fuel your passion for the night sky.

Nov 07 – The Sun
Nov 14 – The Moon
Nov 21 – The Solar System Structure
Nov 28 – Solar System Observing
Dec 05 – The Stars
Dec 12 – Deep Space Objects
Each seminar begins at 7:00 pm, and will end no later than 8:30 pm.

All seminars will take place in:

Price to attend all six seminars:
RASC member – $30
Non-RASC member – $60
Child/Youth under 18 years – $10, but must be accompanied by paying adult.
